REQUIREMENTS : A Grade 12 certificate; applicable administrative trip and in Family Law
Matters; Knowledge of the Maintenance Act (Act ninety nine of 1998); A legitimate driver’s
license code EB; Knowledge of laptop literacy (experience in MS Word and
Excel). Skills and Competencies: Computer literacy (MS Office); Numeracy
skills; Excellent verbal exchange abilities (verbal and written); Ability to work with
the public in a expert and empathetic manner; Explain criminal terminology
and procedures in easy language; Time management; Facilitation skills;
Innovation and capability to work beneath pressure.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Manage responsibilities or features of a Maintenance
Investigator for places of work underneath Ugu District in phrases of the Maintenance Act;
Serve renovation summons, subpoenas, warrants and garnishee orders;
Locate whereabouts of persons; Give testimony in Court below oath; Render
administrative help to the Office.
