REQUIREMENTS : Senior Certificate/Grade 12. A National Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic
Radiography. Current registration with HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer
PLUS 5 years applicable journey after registration with the HPCSA as a
Diagnostic Radiographer of which three years have to be at a Supervisory level.
Skills: Sound expertise of Diagnostic Radiography tactics and
equipment. Sound know-how of radiography methods and views. Sound
Knowledge of exceptional assurance tests. Sound Knowledge of radiation control
and protection regulation. Sound expertise of applicable legislature. Sound
communication and trouble fixing skills. Good Interpersonal skills.
DUTIES : Ensures that the Radiography branch complies with radiation protection
services, Occupational Health and Safety and Infection Control requirements.
Strengthen and display the implementation of gear maintenance
programme. Strengthen the administration of Human Resources. Improve the
quality of Radiography services. Develop, Implement and reveal adherence
to policies, wellknown strategies and all different relevant legislations. Execute
all medical methods correctly to forestall complications. Monitor and
perform 24 hour Radiology service. Facilitate, promote and attend medical and
non-clinical in provider training and training. Participate in Quality assurance
and Quality enchancment program. Uphold patients’ rights and promote Batho
Pele Principles in the execution of obligations for fantastic provider delivery.
