- At least 3 years delivery experience
- Valid driver license, with PDP- Essential
- Good time management skills- Essential

Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to.
- Inspecting of the vehicle pre-departure and return
- Inspection lists to be handed back to Dispatch Supervisor every Monday to sign off before a new inspection list will be issued.
- Any errors on the vehicle need to be reported immediately before the vehicle can leave the premises.
- Checking parcels together with supervisor before loading into the vehicle always adhere to the New Dispatch Loading procedure.
- Delivering the parcels to the customers on your designated route as per route schedule and trip sheet.
- Ensure customer adherence to the POD procedure.
- Adhere to the RFC procedure.
- Delivering all documents and collection slips that are allocated to your trip sheet and receive POD.
- Sign trip sheets in at the POD clerk and ensure that all documents that were assigned to your name is complete and received back the following day.
- Outstanding trip sheets will be your responsibility and you will be held liable for any claims on No pod queries.
- No stock transfers between customer shops.
- Maintaining and cleaning of the vehicle, reporting any problems on the vehicle immediately to the dispatch supervisor
- Report any problems encountered regarding deliveries or POD`s to the dispatch supervisor

Our team of experts is looking for a Warehouse Driver with 8 Ton truck experience to join the Absolute Pets team at the warehouse in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
If you want to join our team, these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for:
- Ensure timely deliveries to stores as per the route schedule.
- Ensure that the vehicle leaves the warehouse by no later than 09H00 every morning (Mondays to Fridays).
- Ensure that the vehicle is loaded in an organised manner according to the delivery route schedule for the day.
- Ensure that all food items are checked and verified upon loading of the vehicle.
- Ensuring correct stock is delivered to the specific stores and that the stores check all food items delivered upon delivery in the presence of the truck driver.
- Minimize the damages by careful handling of products during loading and offloading.
- Report all discrepancies that are found during the delivery route to the warehouse manager.
- Ensure that all stock returned to the warehouse is checked and verified as correct according to the IBT document. All stock discrepancies must be noted on the IBT.
- The delivery vehicle must be kept neat and tidy at all times.
- Any vehicle damages or breakages must be reported to the warehouse manager as soon as possible.
- Behave and perform their duties and responsibilities in a manner that upholds The Company values.
- Assist in any other general warehouse duties as per operational needs.

- Code 10 with PDP
- 8 Ton truck experience
- Proven work experience as a delivery vehicle driver
- The ability to work on your own and part of a team
