Job Overview As a Cleaner, you will be tasked with performing cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces, to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Your role involves following cleaning protocols, using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, and adhering to health and safety regulations. We require Male cleaners to help the Maintenance guy when needed.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate..
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services and general maintenance knowledge will help.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Cleaning
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces to remove dirt and allergens.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions or damage.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure consistent and efficient cleaning operations.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, tenants, or occupants.

Job Description:

 

To Deliver and collect consignments from various locations mall of Africa. To ensure consignments are retrieved and delivered within the timelines required. To complete all documentation required in a legible manner and returned to the relevant departments. To remain flexible as business need required.

 

  • Reporting to the Branch Manager and Team Leader, this person will be responsible for successfully supporting Transport functions.
  • Complete or obtain the correct paperwork to make a retrieval or delivery.
  • Plan the route required to make the retrieval and deliveries within the timelines required.
  • Communication with Transport, Imports and Export Operations.
  • Consignment collections

  • Communicate clearly and precisely with the client at collection or delivery.
  • Communicate with airlines and handle facilities professionally.
  • Understand what information is required on a Retrieval note, MAWB and HAWB.
  • All documentation must be completed accurately and legibly and passed on to the correct departments on return to the office.
  • Support the Transport, Import and Export Operations by labelling and preparation of shipments for dispatch.
  • Packing, Stacking and monitoring of Marken durable and consumable assets weekly/monthly
  • Maintaining tidiness in the warehouse and Marken vehicles
  • All common warehouse & driver duties applicable to the job title.
  • Understand packaging configuration and preparation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervisory & Leadership Duties Supervise and coordinate security staff; maintain order and discipline. Conduct security briefings, debriefings and assign duties/shifts. Verify identities, manage visitor logs, regulate vehicle and pedestrian flow. 3. Patrols & Physical Security Conduct regular site patrols, building inspections, and perimeter checks. Ensure security of premises after operating hours (windows, gates, doors). 4. Incident & Emergency Response Respond to alarms, emergencies, and urgent incidents. Use alarms or panic mechanisms to mobilise assistance when required. Detain and manage trespassers or offenders professionally following legal procedures. 5. Surveillance & Monitoring Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems. Identify suspicious activity and investigate possible threats. 6. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate incident reports, observation logs, inspection records, and client communication records. Write professional and detailed reports after incidents or irregularities. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timeously. 7. Client Service & Professional Conduct Maintain excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
