SALARY : R687 879 – R1 035 000 per annum, (Salary will be in accordance with the OSD requirements)

REQUIREMENTS : Applicants have to be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Survey / Geomatics. Compulsory registration with South
African Geomatics Council (SAGC) as Professional Surveyor on appointment.

Professional Land Surveyor to function cadastral surveys. Minimum of three years
post qualification survey experience. Job associated knowledge: Programme and
project management. Survey layout and evaluation knowledge. Research and
development. Computer-aided survey applications. Knowledge of legal
compliance. Creating excessive overall performance culture. Technical record writing.
Networking. Professional judgement. Job associated skills: Decision making skills,

skills, Financial administration skills, Customer center of attention and responsiveness,

DUTIES : Plan and function surveys to clear up realistic survey troubles (challenges) to
improve effectivity and beautify safety. Investigate functions on new and
existing technologies. Plan and operate surveys of a complicated nature. Develop
cost fine options and approve surveys in accordance to prescribed
requirements / standards. Promote security in line with statutory and regulatory
requirements. Evaluate present technical manuals, general drawings and
procedures to include new technology. Provide expert advisory and
support services. Develop smooth specifications. Provide human capital
development services. Ensure coaching and improvement of candidate
professional surveyors to promote competencies / know-how switch and adherence
to sound survey ideas and code of practice. Supervise the survey work and
processes. Administer overall performance administration and development. Render
office administration and budgeting planning. Manage resources, put together and
consolidate inputs for the facilitation of aid utilisation. Ensure adherence
to policies and tactics for procurement and personnel administration.
Monitor and manipulate expenditure. Report on expenditure and provider delivery.
Conduct research and development. Provide non-stop professional
development to maintain up with new applied sciences and procedures. Research /
literature research on survey science to enhance expertise. Liaise with
relevant our bodies / councils on survey associated matters.
