REQUIREMENTS : Applicants have to be in possession of NQF degree 1 or two (Adult Basic Education
and Training (Abet) stage two / three certificate). No journey required. Job related
skills: Basic numeracy skills.
DUTIES : Perform events in recognize of grounds via inter alia the following: Irrigation
and watering of plant life / lawns, weeding, pruning and trimming of plants.
Cutting, seeding, transplanting, mowing laws, dispose of natural waste, dig up
compost, digging, spraying and preserve flower beds, edges etc. Perform
general events things to do in recognize of infrastructure which would encompass inter
alia the following: Maintain avenue markings, painted surfaces, canals, buildings
etc. Cleaning signs, mild fittings etc. Sweeping, combine and lay cement for
walkaways, driveways etc. Unblocking drains. Empty and easy waste
collection bins. Cleaning and preservation of roads, pavements and
greenhouse, etc. Perform regularly occurring things to do which would consist of inter alia the
following: Care for tools e.g. Cleaning, oiling, sharpening etc. Loading /
off loading, shifting furniture, make minor repairs to fixtures and wash
government vehicle.
